How moderation works

Posts and comments are checked against clear, written community rules: no spam, no fake job offers, no sharing someone's personal details, no harassment. Private messages are never scanned; they are reviewed only when someone reports them. The rules are deterministic, so the same content always gets the same result, and we record every decision with the rule that applied.

Organizations are verified before they can manage their official presence on Croupio. Verification confirms who the organization is; it is not a license.
Official company links
Verified organizations can share links to their official websites, including their careers pages. These links lead directly to the organization's own website or authorized external platform. Croupio does not host job listings, collect applications, or participate in hiring.
Industry news
News from the industry and from the companies you follow, in one feed.
Secure communication
Strangers can't cold-message you. A conversation starts when you accept it.
Digital industry ID
Your profile as a QR code or an NFC tap. At a trade show, share it instead of business cards.

We review proof of your role and experience, such as an employment letter or a work card, and a person decides. The badge tells other members that your profile is real.

From the authority

Licensed professional

A gaming, hospitality or tourism license, a work permit or a registration comes only from the authority where you work. Croupio is not a licensing body or a public authority: it does not issue, renew or replace any license.

Professional licenses, work permits, and regulatory approvals remain the responsibility of the relevant authorities and the organizations that require them.

Atlas lists the industry's venues.

Atlas is a free directory of gaming venues, hotels, resorts, cruise ships, and other venues. Each venue page shows what the place is, where it is, its services and its features.

  • Only verified organizations can list their venues.
  • Listing is free for everyone, and no one can pay to appear higher.
  • Venues are listed in the same published order for everyone.

The Croupio API connects to your management system.

Croupio is developing an API that will allow verified organizations to keep their company and venue information synchronized with their existing management systems or ERP platforms. Whether you operate a gaming venue, hotel, resort, or cruise ship, your organization's public information can stay consistent without repeated manual updates.

The .io in Croupio stands for input and output: your own system and your Croupio pages stay in step.

Walk the halls, stop at a stand, watch a live demo and book a meeting time with the team. Suppliers and technology providers showcase their products and services. Verified venues and industry professionals can explore stands and contact exhibitors directly. Expo can also pair you with the stands that best fit what you're looking for. What you need stays confidential until both sides agree to meet.

So the people you meet are part of the industry. Professionals join by invitation and verification. Organizations are verified before managing their official presence on Croupio.

Is Croupio a recruitment agency?

No. Croupio is a professional network, not a recruitment agency. It does not publish job listings, collect applications or CVs, match candidates with employers, or participate in hiring. Organizations may provide a link to their own external careers page, which they manage independently.

Does "verified" mean licensed?

No. Verification confirms a member's identity and professional background, or an organization's identity. It is not a professional license, regulatory approval, or government certification.

How will my data be handled?

Croupio is being developed with privacy and data protection in mind, including encryption and controls over profile visibility. Members will be able to exercise applicable data access and deletion rights, subject to legal requirements.

Can Croupio connect to our management system or ERP?

The Croupio API is being developed to help organizations and system providers synchronize company and venue information, including official website links, with their existing systems. For future partner access, message us on LinkedIn.
